Background

Galway is a city of year round festivals and special events. Festivals and events range from the International Oyster Festivals to the Galway Film Fleadh to Food Festivals to the world renowned Galway International Arts Festival and the Galway Races in July and August. Posters and the design collateral created from this basic form of graphic communication is bread and butter for a visual designer. Throughout my career I’ve designed many posters for a variety of clients and events.

The Work

The majority of my poster work was completed for The Front Door pub and restaurant group which had a total of 5 venues. The events were varied, eclectic and offered me new challenges almost on a weekly basis. Sports-based posters also played a prominent role in that phase of my career.
